The evening will begin at 4:30 pm with registration and social time, followed by the Bluebonnet's famous buffet dinner at 5:00. The meeting will begin at 5:45 pm.
We've lined up a great set of speakers:
- Attorney Sydney Smithers on Titles by Adverse Possession, Easements by Prescription, and Rights of Way
- Tom Akin, NRCS, on grants and programs from NRCS available to foresters and their clients
- William Hill, Mass DCR, on forestry on state lands
- Jennifer Fish, Mass DCR, on DCR's efforts on municipal and private lands
- Dr. Jonathan Parrott, DOER, on qualifying wood for the APS and RPS programs (with new regulations on the way)
We'll also have a legislative update and will discuss a new award.
